We are a growing accounting practice located in Burswood with easy access to public transport and free onsite parking.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking for a Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time/part-time basis.
Our firm provides essential accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, and business services with a strong and diverse client base of small to medium businesses.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Day to day bank reconciliations, transactional coding, and data entry.
- General ledger account reconciliations.
- Payroll processing and superannuation.
- Managing our client’s compliance matters – BAS/IAS, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, Worker’s compensation, and other requirements.
- Accounting system set up for new clients – payroll and accounting systems, mainly Xero and MYOB.
- Month end reconciliations and monthly management reporting.
- Investigations and analysis to support our tax and advisory teams.
- Provide leadership and knowledge sharing to other team members in the firm.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public practice or bookkeeping services.
- Possess relevant bookkeeping qualifications.
- Extensive experience using bookkeeping software, in particular Xero and MYOB.
- Professional manner, high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in working to deadlines and time management skills.
- Permanent Residency in Australia.
