Form of workPage Personnel are exclusively partnering with a family-owned beauty retailer in South Melbourne to recruit a Bookkeeper on a permanent full-time or part time (4 days per week) basis.
Client Details
Our client has both an in store and online channels focusing on hair care, scalp-care, beauty, skincare, hair services and related products. They stock numerous local, national and international brands with a full range of complimentary products that we know and love! As a result of continued growth over the last 18 months, they are looking to hire a Bookkeeper who will be responsible for the end-to-end Accounting function for 5 entities (including their personal SMSF).
Description
As the Bookkeeper your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- All transactions accounting needs for 5 entities
- End-to-end Xero Payroll for approx. 25 employees
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- General ledger maintenance and reconciliation
- Preparation and reconciliation of bank statements
- Analysis of business operations, trends, costs, financial commitments and obligations
- Future projections, including revenue and expense forecasting
- Work alongside External Accountant on tax related matters
- Prepare and manage cash flow analysis
- Maintain fixed assets register
- Work with the Warehouse Manager on inventory management
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Experience in the Retail/Wholesale/Online Industry (required)
- Experience using Xero for Payroll (required)
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Ability to bring forward new ideas
- Strong communication with internal & external stakeholders
- Strong work ethic
- Accounting Qualification (preferred)
