Light Up Power Group is an Electrical Contractor for Domestic, Commercial and High Rise Buildings in Brisbane and surrounds.
The Role
A fabulous onsite bookkeeping/all rounder/administration position offering approximately 18 to 21 hours per week, Days required will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (Thursday can be flexible). Suitable for a motivated and experienced person to do all bookkeeping/accounts processing, administration, paying of accounts and working closely with Director. Contact with Suppliers and Customers.
Two person electrical office.
To be successful in this role you will need to have previous bookkeeping/accounts/administration experience and full knowledge of MYOB/Microsoft Office and knowledge of Simpro and Xero.
Responsibilities.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Credit card reconciliation.
- Manage bank accounts.
- Reconciling bank statements.
- Payroll/Payroll Tax/Superannuation
- Preparation of BAS’s.
- Managing the internal accounting aspect of the business.
- Payment of Suppliers Invoicing
- Entering Supplier invoices into Simpro.
- Month End reconciliations for all accounts, bank accounts and MYOB
- Answering Phone
- General administration duties
- Liaising with an external accountant/clients/suppliers
- Data entry recording all financial transactions, bank transactions, bank reconciliation processing with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Monitoring and reconciling of customer accounts.
- Finalise and close off EOM, EOY.
- Liaising with external accountant for all compliance requirements.
- Generating work site documents.
- Work closely with director in all aspects.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to) Bookkeeping/Accounts/Payroll/Administration Duties.
Qualifications.
- Minium 3 + years bookkeeping experience.
- Extensive MYOB Accounting software knowledge & experience
- Knowledge of Simpro Software
- Experience using Microsoft Office – Word/Excel etc..
- Knowledge of Xero Accounting software would be an advantage.
- Strong attention to details critical.
- Excellent communication skills, time management and highly organised.
- Proactive, efficient and team minded approach.
- Solid understanding of basic account requirements, GST, Payroll and Payroll administration.
- Ability to work autonomously as small two person office.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with high levels of resourcefulness.
