We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Chef to join our hungry Kitchen team aiming to become New Zealand’s premier Steak House Restaurant.
We are looking for a driven Sous Chef who wants to step up and support our newly appointed Head Chef. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced and talented hatted Chef who is ambitious and who wants to continue the successful legacy of the Botswana Brand.
The Successful candidate will be experienced in high level, hatted kitchens, and understands the importance of highest levels of quality consistency and execution of high-end cuisine.
You’ll thrive under pressure, and you’ll be serious about delivering the highest possible dining experience for both our loyal and overseas customers.
You will be the Head Chef’s Right-Hand Man/Woman, so you will be confident to run the Kitchen independently in their absence.

We are looking for an individual who is:
- Must have experience in a similar role. Your pay rate will mirror your experience.
- The ability to work calmly when under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work late nights and weekends
- Full working rights in NZ (essential)
- ‘Can-Do’ attitude, ready to face a busy service head on
- Be ready to be part of a high quality, high volume, and fast paced operation

This is a full-time role with a salary of $74,000-$80,000 per annum depending on experience.
