To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Brand Manager looking after our Smith's portfolio. Your role will be to Contribute to the overall Smith's portfolio strategy and growth plans as part of Smith's brand team and broader marketing function. You will also manage and implement strategy & plans on specified product platforms within Smith's portfolio across the full marketing mix including communications and innovation, to deliver profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Brand Growth - compile multiple-source consumer and market data to identify key brand insights and growth strategies for your defined portfolio as well as develop marketing plans to capitalise on growth opportunities to deliver AOP volume, revenue share and profit growth; and build on-going brand equity. You will also develop and deliver key brand presentations to deliver total business engagement on marketing plans
  • Product Innovation and Commercialisation - develop and execute product and packaging innovation to drive growth opportunities & excite the Australian consumer. You will work closely with other functions (sales, category, shopper, R&D etc) both locally and across the regional and global Pepsico business to align & optimise project delivery, and provide thorough measurement and evaluation of all launches.
  • Creative and Activation Development - drive a clear communications strategy for your portfolio of brands/products as well as collate and deliver concise communication briefs to external agencies in line with agreed brand objectives. You will manage the execution of all advertising and activation elements (shoot, budget, timing, business sell in) - to deliver creative and relevant communication & activation to delight consumers drive brand growth.
  • Reporting and Administration - effectively manage A&M budget & budget process within Pepsico Controls framework. Deliver requisite brand/product performance reports and budget tracking reports to prescribed timings with issues and opportunities clearly identified.
  • Agency/ Supplier Management and OH&S- manage relationships with key Packaging Research, Media, Creative & Activation agencies to ensure effective brand outcomes.
  • Demonstrate and exercise a commitment to promote, develop and improve the health, safety and welfare of our people.

About you:

  • The successful applicant must have several years' Brand Management experience within the Australian market in either FMCG or related fast paced industry.
  • Experience with new product development and the Stage Gate process or similar
  • Comms, creative development experience ideal
  • You must be able to demonstrate your ability to think strategically and analytically with a keen eye for attention to detail and strong planning and organisational skills to effectively manage and execute projects.
  • Apply your creativity to identify alternative approaches and solutions plus confidence to influence and persuade stakeholders at a local and regional level will ensure your success in this role
  • Ability to work with Global partners and harness appropriate Global NPD & Comms and co-ordinate relevant approvals within matrix structure in a timely manner.
