Role Overview
This is a new role, reporting to the Head of Australia. Day to day you will be building your brand and profile with key Commercial and Corporate Brokers in Australia. Set up Face to Face meetings, deliver presentations and build the brand through a variety of mediums including industry events and Expo's.
You will be responsible for your own selection of distribution channels with support from leadership. You will become an expert in this space whilst maintaining the energy and rapport to go to market.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and build on key relationships with Independent, Corporate, Cluster Group and Global Brokers
- Attend and network at Industry events including Expo's and Award nights
- Learn and be able to articulate professionally a catastrophe driven and technology backed product to be able to share the benefits with brokers
- Identify opportunities within portfolios, geographies and industries where this product will be of value
- Build internal relationships with key stakeholders both locally and overseas
Candidate Profile
You will be a market-facing Insurance professional with experience articulating risks and opportunities to Brokers in Australia.
- 3 years' + experience within Corporate or Commercial Insurance with an Insurer, Broker, Underwriting Agency or InsurTech
- A knowledge of Short Tail Insurance products ideally including Commercial Property or ISR
- Track record of building broker relationships in a Face-to-Face environment and not just over the phone or email
- The ability to learn and articulate technical concepts whilst not being a technical expert
- Willingness to travel and build your hours around your day
