Your new role:
Reporting to an Applications Manager who will develop and mentor you, you'll work effectively with stakeholders across the organisation to identify, analyse and collate business requirements to enable the design, execution and successful implementation of key initiatives. You'll then translate these into technical specifications and solution design documents that convey the required functionality back to business and technology staff. You'll help to operationally support key systems (mainly ERP) and will also work on supporting projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
In summary, your role will be a combination of hands on business analysis work (requirements gathering, supporting business cases, user stories, functional documents, technical specifications, testing, system implementation and post go live change management etc) and operational support of key systems.
Your skills and experience:
Ideally you'll have:
- Strong experience in a similar Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst role;
- A strong understanding of ERP systems;
- Detailed and practical knowledge of business analysis methodologies and the stages of the software development life cycle;
- Strong ability to conduct analysis and deconstruct the problem or solution, through user stories, use cases, business process models and work-flow diagrams;
- Proven experience facilitating requirements elicitation sessions in the form of interviews, workshops, and observations;
- You will be authentic, self-aware, emotionally mature and a team player with high energy;
- You will have exemplary stakeholder engagement skills and will be a natural influencer and relationship builder at executive level;
- You will be action orientated and collaborative with a strong orientation to outstanding service; and
- Above all else, you will have a friendly, positive attitude with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
