The Opportunity  As an Business Analyst at Gentrack, you will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration between customer subject matter experts and the service delivery team. Your primary responsibility is to demonstrate solutions, work closely with customers to understand and agree on their requirements, and ensure that the solutions are configured to meet their needs. Operating within modern agile values and principles, you will engage in various tasks, including acquiring in-depth product and utility industry knowledge, facilitating workshops, analyzing business processes, and collaborating with the technical team to develop effective solutions. Your involvement will extend to providing software training, testing services, and delivering on-site support. Additionally, you will contribute to product direction, prioritize product backlogs, and play a leadership role by providing training and support to team members, encouraging the adoption of agile mindsets, and mentoring less experienced Business Analysts. This customer-facing role may involve domestic and international travel, making it a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the success of Gentrack's projects and build long-term customer relationships.      **The Specifics  ** 

• Acquire in-depth product and utility industry knowledge. 
• Facilitate and attend meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. 
• Facilitate workshops and elicit requirements. 
• Analyze and define business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. 
• Analyze, map, and document business processes. 
• Work with customers to prioritize product backlogs and plan releases. 
• Collaborate with the technical team to develop effective solutions. 
• Provide input into product direction regarding functionality. 
• Provide software training to internal and external customers. 
• Provide testing services to external customers as required. 
• Provide on-site support services. 
• Provide training and support to team members and others. 
• Encourage others to experiment and adopt the Agile mindset, tools, and techniques. 
• Mentor and coach less experienced Business Analysts. 
• Accurately record timesheets and charge for services time. 
• Build long-term relationships with customers. 
• Communicate and negotiate priorities. 
• Handle domestic and international travel requirements.

    **What we're looking for **_(you don’t need to be a guru at all, we’re looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you):_ 

• 3 + years experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner/Scrum Master. 
• Experience in working in Waterfall and Agile (preferably Scrum) environments. 
• Experience in a Professional Services/Consultancy environment. 
• Specialized skills in Requirements Management, Backlog Management, Gherkin Business Analysis, Visual facilitation, Agile Estimation & Planning, Design Thinking, Data Analysis (SQL awareness), Software Testing, and Innovation. 
• Experience in software development.
• Experience in the Utilities sector.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of business processes. 
• Proven ability to understand and communicate technical and business concepts. 
• Record of building strong products/project delivered solutions and collaborating. 
• Exceptional communication skills and presentation abilities. 
• High levels of energy, sound judgment, and determination to achieve with a sense of urgency. 
• Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback. 
• Bachelor's Degree in ICT or similar field. 
• Business Analysis and Agile qualifications.
