In a typical week in this job, you are likely to do the following things:
- Effectively use available resources to market Group Training program to target markets.
- Identify new prospects through referrals, networking, online research, trade shows, outbound calls and other strategies.
- Proactively contact new prospects to promote the Apprenticeship & Traineeship program and benefits to prospective clients and actively convert prospects to host employers.
- Qualify leads received through multiple channels and develop as business opportunities.
- Work with priority groups such as disadvantaged groups and women in male dominated trades.
- Develop partnerships and projects with other CVGT Employment programs.
- Prepare sales presentations, business proposals, and other administrative duties.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate records and activity summaries in relevant software programs.
- Reverse market potential apprentices and trainees to potential host employers.
- Market the Apprenticeship & Traineeship program to schools and their students using a range of strategies.
- Weekly reporting of Business Development activities and outcomes
- Travel to part-time and outreach locations as required.
- Conduct risk assessments on apprenticeships &traineeships and other relevant placements.
- Maintain compliance in accordance with GTO Standards, SOP and CVGT Policies
- Handle and resolve conflict with participants/apprentices and trainees and/or employers/host employers in a respectful and appropriate way, or escalate to the relevant Manager to address.
- Participate in specialised program training delivered by dedicated training staff members both, online and face-to-face.
