As a Business Development Consultant you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the business forward. We are looking for a committed, reliable, organized, self-motivated and proactive all-rounder to join our growing professional, fun and friendly team. We are a professional team, specializing in providing mortgage broking services in the residential, commercial, and business space. OCTO is currently experiencing strong business growth and expect to continue to grow at a rapid pace in the coming years. Our office is located in Camberwell and in close proximity to the train station and shops along bustling Toorak Road.
The Role
Provide brokers with credit analysis support. This includes;
- Identifying potential referral partners, building and nurturing long term relationships with Brokers, Financial Advisors, Real Estate Agents and other industry professionals.
- Promoting the services of OCTO Finance Group to key referral partners, generating high quality leads and referrals, driving advocacy and providing exceptional level of service.
- Build and maintain an active pipeline, managing the home loan journey, end-to-end with with each prospect and existing client.
- Develop an expert understanding of products, policies and processes to provide high quality guidance and advice to customers.
- Leverage your excellent problem-solving skills and product knowledge to manage customer enquiries, maintain and develop strong relationships.
- Communicate with key stakeholders including lenders, referral partners and conveyancers.
What makes you the perfect fit
- Experience in the mortgage broking/banking industry is desirable but not essential
- CERT IV in Finance and Mortgage broking is desirable but not essential
- High attention to detail and extremely organised
- Great at managing workload and prioritising tasks where necessary to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong desire to grow your skillset and further your career
- Can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record in achieving sales results and Business Development skills.
- You have customer service experience and a proven ability to connect with people and build strong relationships.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Good computer skills, with experience using a CRM platform and MS Office.
- You are keen to make the customer experience the best it can be
- Australian Citizen or permanent resident with no work restrictions
Benefits
- $50,000 - $70,000 base salary packaged (depending on experience).
- $110,000 OTE with uncapped commissions
