We are currently seeking candidates for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Business Development Coordinator. This crucial role will play a pivotal part in expanding our presence in Townsville, North Queensland
As a Business Development Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with and reporting to the General Manager - Business Development.
We are looking for candidates who bring energy, initiative, and a strong drive to excel in the education industry. This opportunity is well-suited for individuals with a background in sales/Business Development within the education sector or those currently employed at a Registered Training Organisation who are eager to take their careers to the next level.
Your primary responsibilities in this role will encompass a range of essential tasks, including but not limited to:
- Establishing and Cultivating Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with local schools, employers, and Australian Apprenticeship Support Networks.
- Facilitating School-Based Traineeships: Play a pivotal role in facilitating school-based traineeships, ensuring a seamless process for all stakeholders involved.
- Proactive Sales Lead Management: Actively follow up on sales leads, demonstrating a proactive approach to converting leads into successful partnerships.
- Identifying Growth Opportunities: Continuously identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to our growth strategy.
- Participating in Promotional Activities: Engage in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional activities as necessary to raise awareness and promote our services.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualities:

- Self-motivation and a drive to succeed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A positive "can-do" attitude and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- A current driver's license and reliable vehicle. Travel is a requirement of this position.
- A current QLD Blue Card (or the ability to promptly obtain one upon successful appointment).
