About the role
Our Little National Hotels are all about the little details making a big impact on our guest experiences. As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining sales activities for the assigned local account base to generate revenue in line with annual strategic revenue plans for Little National Hotel Newcastle. The BDE will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities to drive continual business and revenue into Little National Hotel Newcastle across rooms and meetings space.
What you will bring

Your communication skills will be first class, as will your knowledge of sales principles and techniques. Naturally, your previous years' experience within a sales coordinator or exec role will come highly regarded. As will the following:
- strong client management, problem solving and organisational skills
- effective communication and negotiation skills
- stound knowledge of Doma Hotels brand and portfolio
- ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers, clients, and hotel teams
- ability to adapt in certain situations and when dealing with different client groups
- strong Newcastle local market knowledge
- Good understanding of IT applications: excel, word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft skills. Opera, Global Distribution System, Ivvy, IDEAS RMS, Revinate, and other Hotel systems
