THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our CodeBlue business in North Ryde, Sydney NSW.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, your main responsibility will be to achieve prescribed new business revenue and profit targets for CodeBlue by developing a quality pipeline through building long term relationships and driving new business growth. You will do this while ensuring customer satisfaction by actively building relationships, identifying and fulfilling customer needs.
Candidates having experience in selling Managed IT Services or similar would be highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a prospecting routine including, referrals, social media, thought leadership, outbound calling and event-based campaigns to delivery pipeline quota.
- Actively manage, qualify a robust opportunity pipeline of new customers and/or new solutions.
- Personally, plan and implement the sales process for larger and more complex deals. Own the sales cycle from end to end
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasting based on deep knowledge of the market and prospect base
- Work as a trusted advisor to prospects by delivering value and building a strong relationship.
- Advise customers of efficient, high quality and cost-effective solutions to meet their requirements
- Extensive experience in IT sales including understanding of complex sales cycles and solutions selling
- Understands financial aspects of deals and presents financial business case in proposals
- Ability to prepare and present successfully to all levels of customer
- Highly skilled in rapport-building and responding effectively to individual customer needs
- Understanding of customer drivers, purchasing/decision processes
