About the Role
Reporting to the Franchisee a unique, newly created opportunity for the right Business Development Manager (BDM). In this role you will have the opportunity to put your personal mark on this position. Suited to a professional with experience in customer relationships and driving sales within the hospitality and hotel resort industry. You will work closely with our Franchisee, General Manager and Sales & Marketing team and other key stakeholders to elevate the hotel's profitability and enhance its brand value. Multisite BDM across Frankston and Narre Warren Competitive salary package offered.
Responsibilities & dutiesTo deliver the revenue targets as set in the annual business plan by the Franchisee through development, acquisition, and retention of accounts. You will represent the Quest Brand with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity, and in accordance with Quest Apartment Hotels’ operating model.
- You will research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement.
- Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients.
- Engage in proactive sales activities, including sales calls, face-to-face presentations, hosting clients, and attending networking events to attract new business across various industries.
- Design, develop and implementation of Marketing Strategy to ensure Sales targets are met.
- Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned.
- Possess a strong understanding of the industry, our competition in the industry and positioning.
- Provide regular activity reports and participate in weekly revenue and Sales & Marketing meetings.
About You:
- A dynamic individual with local market knowledge and at least 2 years of experience in the hospitality or events sector.
- A proven track record of planning and exceeding sales targets with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively articulating our value proposition.
- A deep understanding of Quest Apartment Hotels positioning and competitive differentiation.
- Experience using Salesforce.
- This role requires you to work across 2 Quest properties – Frankston and Narre Warren
- Able to start by the 15th of April 2024
