Harvest B is a growing food technology business that develops and manufactures plant proteins with animal protein-like textures. We’re small, but full of ambition! We think alternative protein sources have a role to play in our economy, complementing animal proteins, to drive towards a more sustainable food system. About the role
As the Business Development Manager, you will use your enthusiasm for our products and your sales experience to identify, advance and close new opportunities. You will use both proven sales tactics and entrepreneurial efforts to drive sales of our products.

Key Accountabilities:
Build pipeline of new opportunities in Industrial food manufacturing & Institutional Food Service segments (20%)
- Drive our Business Development strategy in priority B2B market segments
- Prospect high quality leads and activate into new opportunity pipeline
- Work with Director of R&D on new product development launches
Drive revenue (80%)
- Account manage customers to retain and grow existing clients.
- Collaborate with teammates to develop and qualify new sales opportunities to present our products.
- Develop and manage customer relationships over the opportunity lifecycle.
- Support / lead the design and delivery of innovative, creative and compelling solutions and proposals.
- Design and deliver presentations and food tastings to selected B2B prospects.
Measure Success
- Report and forecast on monthly results
- Hit and exceed monthly sales KPIs
About You:
Experience Level
- 5+ years working in sales
- Bachelors Degree

Flexibility / time on site:
This role will require some travel to visit customers with an expectation of 20%+ in market. Drivers licence and own car required for role.
