The purpose the Business Development Manager role is to play a pivotal role in Bright & Duggan Property Group’s growth strategy by overseeing a team of national portfolio growth of for Structure Building Management. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and securing opportunities, cultivating relationships with our clients, and negotiating new agreements that align with the company’s group objectives.
About You:
- Partnering across the business to understand areas of growth
- Achieve overall sales budgets and forecasts
- Plan and execute sales targets
- Develop sales strategies for the local market in collaboration with stakeholders and the management team
- Develop and leverage the customer database to achieve required commercial outcomes and sales budget
- Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
- Writing and presenting of business proposals
- Pipelining of new business from current and existing client accounts
- Manage complex negotiations
- Build rapport and establish long term relationships with national client base
- Grow the business
- Work closely with the Structure Senior leadership team
- Report Directly to the Managing Director and work closely with the National State Manager
About You:
• Proven track record of success in Business Development
• Building Manager experience highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
