Business Development Manager focussed on Enterprise patch selling both Pulsar (social listening) & Isentia (media monitoring) into ANZ

This is a Business Development Manager role, responsible for finding new business with prospective ANZ clients by selling and promoting all aspects of the Pulsar Social Intelligence platform. Success in this role is determined by a continuous high rate of high-value business deals, developing strong relationships, running a consultative sales process and providing solutions to real business needs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Generate new opportunities (and leverage existing Isentia relationships) by signing new clients onto the brand new Pulsar Platform.
- Create, manage and grow a sales pipeline autonomously, and follow up prospects through available CRM tools (Salesforce).
- Lead pitches, negotiations & tenders with strong support from the wider commercial team.
- Build and deliver compelling demonstrations, pitches and sales materials with the support of our marketing team & solutions consultant
- Work closely with the customer experience team to ensure successful onboarding of new clients
- Proactively build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
- Build and maintain first-class product, industry, and competitor knowledge.
- Social media monitoring or listening experience
- A proven track record of achieving results with a SaaS or similar product.
- Superior relationship-building and influence management skills in interactions with senior leaders, peers, internal and external partners.
- Experience creating, owning and growing your pipeline.
- Strong creative thinking
- Comfortable working through transformational change and able to manage multiple competing priorities with strong attention to detail.
