The role involves negotiating high-value strategic projects and contracts within Defence, for Naval, and Army applications dealing with SPO's and CASG with contacts up to Director level with the potential to grow into Federal government organisations.
Dealing with Project Managers and Fleet Managers, this fast, dynamic and fluid environment requires an individual who can inspire confidence and communicate reliability at all levels. You will be responsible for contributing towards a national strategy liaising with customers throughout communicating your knowledge of the industry and solidifying their excellent reputation in this market.
Alliances with other Prime players in the market whilst totally committing and solidifying the supplier base ensuring all parties benefit from an already flourishing partnership.
Having proved they can thrive in these specialist areas, you will be able to deliver systems and products supported by highly technical Engineers and specialists within Electronics, Software and Communications.
The Person
- Qualifications in Engineering would be desirable.
- Identify and convert defence business opportunities across Australia
- Thrive in developing existing markets as well as targeting new markets.
- Passionate about winning and developing new business.
- The ability to speak to senior decision makers with confidence.
- Excellent Relationship building skills
- Must hold an AGSVA NV1 clearance
- Must have compliance with ITAR
