As a result of strategic growth, an opportunity exists for an accomplished Sales/Business Development Professional to join our team based at our head office in Melbourne. We are seeking an energetic, positive, self-motivated, driven and passionate sales professional to add value to our business through the provision of proactive procurement of new customers through a customer centric lens.

In this role, successful candidate will be:
- Reporting to the Head of Sales, and focus on new business opportunities.
- Talented sales professional with a passion for generating leads and closing sales.
- Ability to tap into potential client opportunities to generate new business and grow relationships.
- Drive Sales functions of the business and implement, execute a sales strategy.
- Developing a planned positive approach in relation to obtaining prospects.
- Conduct site visits, client meetings and tender presentations with the existing team.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients before, during, and after sales to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Attend client meetings, networking events, connect, and influence stakeholders, and maximise lead potential.
- Willing to make suggestions that lead to improved sales outcomes.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather information.
- Employ a combination of cold calling and in person methods to generate new business opportunities.
- Some travel may be involved.
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- Extensive Sales/Business Development experience
- Previous experience working in similar industry e.g., soft services, retail, hospitality, hospitals etc.
- Proven sales results, meeting and exceeding KPI's with a hunger for converting all leads and opportunities.
- Highly organised, exceptional time management skills and attention to detail.
- Be a natural influencer with superior negotiation skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills.
- Focused, goal oriented and highly motivated.
- Talented sales professional with a passion for generating leads and closing sales.
