We are looking for a proficient and dynamic Business Development Manager (Corporate) to join our team at Sydney Central Hotel, managed by The Ascott Limited (only minutes away on foot from Sydney Central Station). This position presents an exceptional opportunity to join a successful team and establish the property with new and existing customers.
What will you do?
- Build and maintain relationships with key property accounts to ensure account targets are met
- Proactively identify and convert new business leads
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of new business leads from a variety of sources
- Conduct site inspections, famils and entertainment activities to grow revenue and capture market share
- Attend networking events, trade events and TMC events to engage with external stakeholders, develop new connections and develop new business opportunities
- Monitor competitor activity and implement tactical changes as and when required
- Develop specialist knowledge of key industries relating to the property, including a deep understanding of trends and opportunities
- Develop ideas contributing to the promotion and success of the property alongside your colleagues
