ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Strategic Development Manager will take a leading role in the development, execution and implementation of strategy, new business development and investment opportunities.
Working closely with Enviropacific’s Executive Leadership Team, the purpose of the role is to engage and challenge the business and its respective teams in developing, analysing and driving opportunities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing strong strategic leadership and direction, based on sound financial and data analysis.
- Analysing Enviropacific’s current operations and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Identifying and developing opportunities for future Mergers, Acquisitions and New Business streams.
- Maintaining a strong-focus on the company’s growth-oriented 5-year business plan.
ABOUT YOU
You will have spent your career to date focusing on project management, strategy formulation, new business development and mergers & acquisitions.
To be successful in this position you will likely possess the following:
- 15+ years working within the resource recovery or waste industry, with 5+ years in leadership and strategic positions.
- A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant discipline including CPA / MBA.
- The ability to interpret and analyse performance data and make insightful commercial commentary and recommendations to the business.
- A strong track-record of identifying and capturing opportunities to strengthen business growth.
- A hands-on, down-to-earth management style.
- Strong working knowledge of ASC Rules and Accounting Standards.
- A strong professional presence and the ability to build relationships.
- The proven ability to develop strong relationships with current and potential clients, suppliers and regulators.
- A highly developed, persuasive, and influential communication style.
