PROPERTY MANAGEMENT – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – INDEPENDENT PROPERTY GROUP

Independent Property Management has the largest rent-roll, servicing clients in Canberra and regional NSW. We work with large scale investors, developers, and single property owners.

Due to demand, we are seeking a Business Development Manager with a preferred background in property, or previous experience in a Business Development, to join our team.

This position will be responsible for implementing strategies to retain and attract clients, grow the business, and generate revenue. Your focus will be on sales, customer service, marketing, and building relationships with property owners and investors.

THE ROLE

As a BDM, you will be responsible for nurturing existing and identifying new relationships to secure new managements. This means networking with Real Estate agents, Accountants, Financial Planners, etc to develop an effective stream of regular referrals. You will work closely with the Property Management team in the areas of business retention, fostering referrals and assisting in renewing management contracts when required. You will have the support of the Property Management and leasing team allowing you to focus on your role and assisting the clients in getting the properties ready for market.

Essential

• Demonstrated sales and Business Development ability

• Proven track record in reaching or achieving sales targets

• Ability to source new business through professional and personal networks

• Current PM / or Unresticted Registration

• Current driver’s licence and own motor vehicle

• An ability to think strategically and laterally

• High level of customer service

To be successful in this role, you will be a self-starter and team player. You will have excellent relationship and networking skills and be confident in developing and building successful referral relationships.
