ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting time for us, as we have created a new opportunity for a Business Development Manager, International Growth within our Broadcast and Commercial department. We're looking for someone to have territory responsibility for Cricket Australia's commercial, audience and strategic growth efforts in India and other international territories where new value can be generated for Australian Cricket. If you consider yourself to be a high-performing commercial leader with experience growing commercial growth from new territories, we want to hear from you. We have big ambitions for this space, so we're looking for drive, passion, and energy to bring our plans to life.
You'll be responsible for:
- Building relationships with potential commercial partners internationally, particularly in India, both directly and through sales representatives, and connecting 'warm leads' with the CA Commercial Sales team
- Working collaboratively with the CA Commercial Sales team to develop new sponsor opportunities that are valued appropriately, targeted, and customised using outstanding market knowledge
- Working closely with the CA broadcast team and third parties to create and deliver optimised and customised live broadcast products for international cricket fans
- Taking the lead in developing India B2B and fan facing event and activation plans outside Australia for FY25 and beyond
- Having oversight over activity across Australian Cricket to ensure a high level of cooperation and coordination in planning and execution of commercial efforts to deliver the best possible commercial return
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Relevant tertiary qualifications for example, commerce, international trade degree
- Demonstrated sales and Business Development experience with businesses based in India
- Understanding of the Indian market, including commercial and industry dynamics, sports and media landscape, local regulatory environment, governing model and business etiquette
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills across diverse segments including; commercial partners, government, administrators and industry groups
- You will have a strong commercial mindset that can look around corners
