Business Development Manager

The demand for earthmoving equipment is booming! It is a prosperous sector is a rewarding market for passionate Sales professionals. Our client is an OEM supplier of earthmoving attachments. Designing, manufacturing and supplying high quality innovative hitches and buckets. Headquartered in Melbourne, they have experienced sustained growth and success, managing to triple sales revenue over the past 4 years.

The next step in this company’s expansion is to establish a base of operations in Western Australia. We are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager with the drive to maintain momentum. The business has some existing customers in WA, however the wealth of untapped potential is what makes this a golden opportunity.

Role responsibilities:

• Developing a strategic Sales plan
• Pipelining new customers through Business Development and relationship based selling
• Forecasting and reporting
• Account management
• Technical and aftermarket sales support

Success profile

This is a growth and development role, therefore we are looking for some with:

1. A strongly motivated salesperson with the integrity to work autonomously
2. A background in Civil, Mining or the Industrial Earthmoving equipment sectors
3. Product knowledge gained from experience in operations, maintenance, production or especially heavy equipment Sales (such as an OEM supplier, Dealership, Civil Contractor, Asset Auction Business, Equipment Hire Business)
4. A proven track record in Sales management (highly desirable)
