An exciting opportunity exists to join a small and dynamic Business Development team focussed on strategic growth in the Asia-Pacific nuclear, space, cyber and National Security sectors. Through a disciplined sales process and a relationship-based delivery model, we provide customer-centric solutions and services to public and private sector clients.
We are seeking a talented Business Development Manager capable of leading strategic sales pursuits and passionate about the National Security sector to help grow our business.
Workplace Expectations and Typical Duties
Reporting directly to the Business Development Director National Security and APAC, the Business Development Manager will focus on winning new business by developing compelling proposals and tailored solutions to provide maximum value to new and existing clients. Roles and responsibilities include:
- Building strong and mutually beneficial customer and business relationships
- Developing customer-centric services and solutions
- Creating and delivering compelling proposals and presentations
- Applying a disciplined approach to sales and Business Development Developing relationships with key decision makers internally and externally to grow our business
- Applying market knowledge to generate new business opportunities
- Developing relationships with key decision makers internally and externally to grow our business
- A proven track record of successful Business Development, sales and or project delivery in the private or public sector
- An understanding of the National Security sector and relevant government agencies
- Proposal development experience
- Experience forming and leading multidisciplinary team across geographies
- Awareness of Export Control and ITAR obligations
- Willingness to travel and support customer visits and strategy workshops
Degree in business, management and or an engineering discipline.
Career experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Clearance
Hold or the ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
Attendance
This is a full-time permanent position however, there is flexibility on the hours. Work may be required after hours and on weekends to meet deadlines, and sometimes at short notice.

Must always demonstrate professional behaviour when dealing with customers, management, and co-workers. Must have clear, concise, and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written.. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner.
