The business is seeking a talented and driven Business Development Manager to join their team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving growth for the company. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for sales and Business Development to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet them.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and presentations for clients.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline activity, win/loss ratios, and revenue forecasts.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relative field is highly regarded but not essential
- Proven track record of success in Business Development, sales, or related roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to exceed targets and objectives.
- Knowledge of [industry/sector] is preferred but not required.
