TRu Brands is looking for an experienced and exceptional Business Development Manager to join our national team full-time.
TRu Brands has a common goal of becoming a pioneer in the Australian safety industry, striving to provide high-quality products and services that bring value to our clients.
The PPE Group (the employment division) encompasses both Private Brands and TRu Brands, two dynamic, privately owned businesses striving to become leaders in the personal protective equipment industry.
We are home to industry brands including; Force360, Graphex, TRu Workwear, Bool Protective Technologies and Bata Industrials Footwear. We have a well-established supply chain combined with a successful leadership group with decades of collective industry experience.
This role is based in our Perth office and will report directly to the National Sales Manager. This role will require regional travel within WA.
You will be part of a team of people passionate about our products and services. The PPE Group (TRu Brands & Private Brands) will support you with stock, systems and processes to ensure sales success.
Role and Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong and trusting relationships with existing and potential wholesale customers and our distribution network overall
- Build relationships with existing and potential end-user customers and deliver business back through to our Distribution network
- Develop specialist knowledge of our products and business
- Identify critical areas for growth within your territory
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- A customer-centric approach to sales growth
- Ability to prioritise and focus independently with excellent time management skills essential
- Be able to think on your feet and develop solutions to meet customer’s needs
- Advanced computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – focused on Excel and Outlook
- Be a team player who is coachable and open to change
- 5+ years of experience with proven success in a similar role
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
Ideally, you will be self-motivated with an inherent desire to constantly exceed expectations.
Although experience in the safety, apparel and footwear industries is favourable, we welcome applications from experts in relationship building and sales from other sectors.
