Established for over 25 years with 90 staff located in offices throughout Queensland, Harrison Infrastructure Group (HIG) specialises in the provision of engineering in multiple disciplines such as traffic, hydraulic, surface water, and civil. In addition, HIG also provides services for construction contract administration and project management for engineering projects.
We are seeking a highly motivated person to provide administrative support to our Business Development team. This will involve assisting technical staff in the development of proposal documents for projects the company is bidding for. You will be required to complete the non-technical components of proposals, oversee document presentation, and be responsible for the final compilation and submission of proposals. You will also be responsible for tracking progress of submissions and managing various deadlines.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the use of Microsoft word and excel.
- Ability to set priorities, plan work programs, meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills including face to face, telephone, written reports, and general correspondence.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively within a team.
- Experience in compiling tender proposal packages and graphic art software would be considered an advantage.
