Job Description:
Responsible for supporting the BDM in driving growth in Australia with particular focus on Secure KVM and B2B products and, account management of existing business. Leverage existing SMB, distribution and enterprise accounts while assisting in opening new opportunities. Support in building sales pitches for new business and supporting the BDM in closing new business opportunities. Reporting into the BDM and working closely with local and global key stakeholders, to deliver net sales, GP and OP targets.
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Pursuing major prospective customers as well as expanding sales to existing accounts through new product offerings and competitive positioning.
Assisting in creating sales proposals and working closely with customers to provide suitable solutions.
Influencing cross-department collaboration within the organization as needed, to support customers, grow business and resolve issues that may arise.
Continually growing pipeline opportunities, particularly for our Cyber Security solutions and other Belkin products and offerings.
Analyzing industry market trends, competitive products, and pricing that may impact sales efforts.
Assist in providing accurate forecasts, reducing returns, developing and maintaining an appropriate marketing plan, and managing overall profitability.
Participate in relevant trade shows/conferences to showcase KVM and B2B product lines.
Have thorough understanding of ROI from all activities.
Complete all assigned reporting requirements as assigned by the Head of Distribution.
Communicate ideas, challenges, and problems as they arise.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned or required.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
5+ years or more of sales experience.
Proven track record in closing sales using a consistent method of delivery, providing product training externally to customers and building strong customer relationships.
Ability to understand complex product specifications and conduct comprehensive needs-analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite of Products.
Account Management, expand sales within existing and new accounts, focus on customer service, develop relationships with key decision makers, understand and respond to customer needs in a timely manner, track and monitor account activity.
Decision Making/Judgement, recognise problems and respond, systematically gather information, sort through complex issues, seek input from others, address root cause of issues, make timely decisions, make difficult decisions, use consensus, when possible, and communicate decisions to others.
Problem Solving/Analysis, break down problems into smaller components, understand underlying issues, simplify and process complex issues, understand the difference between critical details and unimportant facts.
Product Knowledge, know and explain product features/benefits, understand/sell the full product line, understand customer's business operations and needs, understand/respond to the competition, apply market knowledge.
Industry Knowledge, demonstrate expert knowledge of the Public Sector buying process, including specification, bidding, and fulfillment; key customers and channel partners; competition; and best industry practices.
Sales Skills, develop new business, identify and sell to customer needs, translate product features to benefits, have good listening skills, is sensitive to customers, deliver effective presentations, negotiate well, use closing skills appropriately, develop sales skills.
Teamwork, meet all team deadlines and responsibilities, listen to others and value opinions, help team leader to meet goals, welcome newcomers and promote a team atmosphere.
