Business Services Associate Director

THE FIRM

The pro-active directors of a close-knit successful Mid-Tier firm are looking to sell down some fees and admit another Business Services director to their practice. The firm offers a range of technical and strategic expertise to a first class client base. The firm operates under a corporate structure so small tranches of equity are available over time. 

THE ROLE 

This role will suit a candidate seeking to grow an existing fee base or bring their existing fees to the firm. The firm has a healthy mix of SME’s and large private clients that require an advisory approach to aid them in achieving their business and personal financial goals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage the delivery of accounting, tax and advisory services to your client base.
• Supervise, manage and mentor a team of professionals.
• Positively influence the culture of the firm through your daily actions.
• Pro-actively identify and implement improvements for systems & processes wherever necessary.
• Maintain an unwavering understanding of client needs and apply this when delivering exemplary technical advice and complex business advisory consultancy to all clients.

THE CANDIDATE 

The ideal candidate should be already experienced in an associate level role or, be “knocking on the door to Directorship“ at their current firm. Candidates who possess the following qualities are more likely to be considered:

• CA/CPA Qualified.
• Several years’ experience in an accounting firm, with exposure to all types of entities and high level technical skills.
• Be a natural business developer with an established network and a drive to grow or bring their own fee base (potential for equity swap).
• Fit the firms cultural mould, mindset, & values and take great care of clients through start up, growth, and exit stages.
