About the role
Join our team as a Business Support Officer in our dynamic Liveable Communities group! As the backbone of our operations, you will provide comprehensive Business Support to various teams, ensuring smooth coordination of activities, meetings, and communication flow.
Your responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum, including facilitating overall Business Support, managing calendars, overseeing communications, organising events, administering financial processes, managing data, and addressing general inquiries. Furthermore, you will collaborate with other business unit administrators to ensure efficient customer service and accurate information sharing with our community.
About you
We are looking for a candidate with relevant qualifications or demonstrated experience in administrative services, preferably in a local government or diverse customer service environment. You should possess excellent organisational and time management skills, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities. A high level of emotional intelligence, confidentiality awareness, and problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required, with confidence in using TEAMS and SharePoint. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement are highly valued.
