About the role
Main tasks: The primary function of this role is to manage a team of account managers in the industrial chemical portfolio, supporting your staff and leading from the front.
Other tasks:
Lead strategic growth initiatives within the CASE segment, leveraging global strength and local representation
Manage a high-performing team, fostering long-term relationships and driving business success
Develop and implement business plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and budgets
Maintain strategic relationships with principals, suppliers, and key customers
Seek and develop new business opportunities while managing efficient stockholding
Conduct regular reviews, providing insightful reporting and forecasting
Utilise business analysis tools and ensure compliance with company policies and values
Follow the responsible care program to improve safety, health, and environmental management.

What you must have to apply for this role:
- Technical or commercial experience with coatings, adhesives, sealants, & elastomers
- Extensive proven ability to manage teams, drive sales, and adapt to new requirements
- Exceptional organisational & interpersonal skills, with adaptability for interactions at all business levels.
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
- Experience in new business development or a "hunter" mentality
- Completed technical studies at an undergraduate level or above.
