The role
The role of the Buying & Admin Assistant is to manage all elements of the administration process in line with critical path and retailer requirements, as well as to provide ongoing customer service to pharmacy accounts.
The role works closely with the Buying and Wholesale teams to support the delivery of on trend product to our retail partners in line with agreed specifications.
Your key responsibilities:
- Support Pharmacy customers by actioning requests, responding to queries about products and orders
- Assist with shipping, deliveries, stock, faulty items, invoicing, order processing
- Prepare sales and Visual Merchandising (VM) documents for all ranges
- Liaising with external VM provider regarding merchandising visits
- Critical Path Management
- Sample Management
- Raise and maintain item codes, card codes and POs in SAP
- Maintain range documentation and buying plans
- Liaise with retail partners; ensuring product information is uploaded and added to websites
- Provide effective and regular customer contact and communication appropriate to each customer to assist in driving sales objectives
- Develop a deep understanding of the end consumer profile for each Retailer, keeping up to date with the retail and fashion market and trends
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience within a busy Administrative role, with experience in a Buying, Fashion or Retail business preferable
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
- Excellent organisational, multi-tasking and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- High energy and motivation to get the job done
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritise and deliver within deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Comfortable to work autonomously and equally in a team
- Ability to use initiative and build strong business relationships
- Experience working with suppliers in China (ideal not essential)
