AddressVoted Australia's best bakery for 2021, 2022, and 2023, Glenorie Bakery is looking for experienced Chefs and Cooks to join our amazing team.
“As a Chef or Cook at Glenorie Bakery you are responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers. You will help keep the kitchen organised and running efficiently. You also must ensure proper food handling, sanitation and follow food health and safety standards, at all times.
Some of the tasks include:
- Assists day-to-day operations of the food production within the bakery.
- Prepare and maintain stock to meet par levels of
- Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
- Assists in activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation. Focusing on efficiency.
- Assists food preparation and presentation.
- Checks the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
- Assists in determining how food should be presented and creates decorative food displays.
- Check quality of goods delivered and being used in recipes
- Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediately
