About The Role
The Careers Advisor provides specialist career and workforce development advice to a broad range of clients facing economic and or societal barriers, students at Wodonga TAFE, other cohorts as identified from the Victorian Skills Authority (VSA) and senior students across the Secondary School sectors in our 4 Local Government Areas.
Duties:
- Support, assist and guide clients with their resumes, job applications and tips or how to conduct their job and career searches
- Provide excellent customer service which is respectful and inclusive to all stakeholders
- Write case studies, prepare correspondence and ensure relevant reporting data and records are maintained
- Build networks and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Work collaboratively in a team environment
About You
Skills & Experience
- Certificate IV in Career Development and or substantial employment experience working with clients facing economic and or societal barriers, senior school students, and other identified cohorts with their job seeking, career planning and education activities.
- Current driver’s Licence.
