SalaryGasworks Medical Practice is seeking a vibrant, warm Medical Receptionist to join the GMP team. We are looking for the right fun-loving person with the desire to help the practice to its fullest potential. We are looking for two Casual Medical Receptionists with limited hours, including weekends
Opening hours::
Monday: 7.00am to 5.00pm
Tuesday: 7.00am to 7.00pm
Wednesday: 7.00am to 7.00pm
Thursday: 7.00am to 5.00pm
Friday: 7.00am to 5.00pm
Saturday: 8.30am to 12.30pm
Sunday: 8.30am to 12.30pm
Remuneration in accordance with Health Professional & Support Services Award.

Our ideal candidate will have the following attributes and experience;
- Demonstrated patient-focused, excellent customer service with genuine empathy
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task, with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Dispute resolution and attending to patient complaints
- Be self-motivated, with ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- Identify, investigate and work collaboratively with team members to find a suitable resolution
- Liaise with referring doctors, hospital staff, pharmacists in a professional manner
- Readily deal with emergencies when necessary, following our set procedures
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding patient and practice information
- Enthusiastic, energetic, reliable personality with a strong work ethic
Desirable Attributes:
- CPR/Triage training and/or experience
- Experience with specific social groups serviced by practice, such as adolescents, aged care, LGBTQ+, migrant or refuge groups, Aboriginals & Torres Straight islanders
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Experience with Best Practice preferred, or similar medical software
- Ideally a well-developed understanding of Medicare, DVA, WorkCover & Private billing
