This is a full-time, fixed-term contract to 31 December 2032 and is based at the JCU Cairns Nguma-bada campus, Smithfield.
How you’ll make a difference
Collaborating with JCU’s Research Division Administrative Team, you will deliver high-quality project support and office coordination to CIEHF operations that are customer centric, informed, professional and in line with relevant University processes.
What you’ll bring
With an enthusiasm and passion to make a difference and bring Indigenous histories to the forefront of Australian land and sea management, you will have highly developed communication, negotiation and influencing skills which allow you to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Your exceptional time management skills together with the ability to prioritize and use your initiative to meet competing deadlines will see you succeed in contributing to the success of the CIEHF
About the CIEHF
The ARC Centre of Excellence for Indigenous and Environmental Histories and Futures aims to generate a new direction in knowledge creation based on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led approaches to managing Land and Sea Country. The Centre expects to make a legacy contribution by developing complementary Indigenous and Western knowledge frameworks for modelling environmental, cultural, and historical change in Australia over the last millennium and into the near future.
