AddressEmbracia Childcare and Kindergarten are excited to welcome a motivated and enthusiastic Centre Director to help lead and support our amazing team of Educators and inspiring children. We are a Family owned company who is growing in Childcare, so come and join our leadership team at our purpose built 120 place childcare and kindergarten located in Kyneton which opened in August 2023.
Focused on nature and play-based learning, we have two dedicated kinder rooms that are open and thriving. The most exciting part about this role is that we will be offering INTERGENERATIONAL KINDER from late 2025. We are looking for a dynamic individual with proven leadership skills to take on this exciting role working with our Assistant Manager, Education Leader, kindergarten teachers and our dedicated and fun team of Educators!

We are a second-generation family business with two owned and operated aged care homes and another soon to start construction in Kyneton. Embracia is also a Registered Training Organisation (Embracia Education), offering both Child Care and Aged Care courses to assist you to build an amazing team and always have students available too. - Located only 30 minutes to Sunbury and Daylesford
- A short drive from Woodend and Macedon, overlooking a beautiful area of the Macedon Shires Ranges.
- We are close to the train station or enjoy a beautiful scenic drive to Kyneton where traffic is not an issue.
What you will bring to the Role:
- Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood education and care or equivalent.
- Competence in adhering to the National Education and Care Regulations 2011
- Knowledge in administering and implementing the National Quality Framework- National Quality Standards and EYLF and VEYLDF
- Proven ability to lead, guide, support, mentor and supervise a team
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Sound understanding and knowledge of child development
- Sound understanding and experience in implementing Health and Safety Principles
- Current Anaphylaxis Training and Emergency Asthma Management
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Bachelor of Education (desirable)
- Food Safety Training- ‘Follow basic food safety practices’ and ‘Food Safety Supervisor’ (desirable)
