Centre Manager/Educational Leader

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Centre Manager to join our team. The Centre Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained, and fostering a positive and nurturing environment for both children and staff as well as leading the educational program as educational leader.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for children, staff, and families
• Foster strong relationships with parents and families, ensuring open communication and addressing any concerns or issues promptly
• Collaborate with educators to develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities
• Manage rosters, and budgets, and identifying areas for improvement
• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, ensuring it exceeds health and safety standards
• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in early childhood education and care

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, Diploma, or Cert III
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a child care or early childhood education setting
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing child care facilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid Working with Children Check (or equivalent)
