Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer will be passionate in the provision of safe and quality care services and accommodation to their residents. The CEO will be a strategic thinker with strong management skills, and experience in human resource management, business planning, and financial skills. This role ensures the successful operation and delivery of quality service to the residents of the Aged Care home and the Independent Living Units.
Responsibilities include:
- Leadership: Recruit, retain, and lead a strong workforce, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Planning: Deliver the organization's strategic plan, meeting financial and legislative requirements.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring prudent financial stewardship.
- Quality Assurance: Lead the preparation and participation in accreditation visits, ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders to achieve strategic goals and address challenges.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee marketing and operational planning, including asset management and maintenance planning.
- Experience managing and leading change
- Degree/qualification in health, business administration, human resource management of related field
- Post Graduate qualifications (desirable)
- Minimum of 5 years Senior Management experience in Aged Care
- Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC
