The Role & The Team
Elevate strategic financial and commercial thinking, guiding senior leaders to new heights while cultivating the finance function through the provision of financial and commercial change initiatives.
As the CFPO Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic commercial advice to senior leaders across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include delivering critical decision support for performance improvement, identifying improvement opportunities, and collaborating with other Business Partners for consolidated planning and reporting. You will contribute to the development and implementation of organisation wide initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Your day will involve offering strategic financial and commercial insights to facilitate long-term commercial thinking for executive members and senior leaders. You will actively contribute to the development of the CFPO improvement agenda, providing key decision support focused on performance improvement. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll leverage insights into financial planning and analysis to inform strategy development and set domain targets.

The Person
We are seeking a strategic thinker and collaborative problem-solver. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, exceptional financial acumen, and a passion for driving positive change in a dynamic aviation environment. As a key member of the CFPO team, you will play a vital role in maturing the commercial and financial acumen of the business through coaching and capability development.
The Successful Applicant Will Have:
- Proven experience providing strategic financial or commercial advice in a complex, geographically diverse organization.
- Demonstrated ability to make commercially astute decisions with incomplete information in dynamic situations.
- Experience in driving and implementing change initiatives aligned with business strategy.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of effectively managing senior stakeholders.
- A tertiary qualification in Finance or another business-related field.
- Knowledge of systems and tools relevant to financial planning and analysis.
