About the role:
Oversee and coordinate comprehensive Change Management and Communication activities across all staff within the Cyber Security Program. Ensure effective delivery, engagement of affected business areas, smooth transitions, and support for change initiatives that enhance adoption and benefits.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, document, and execute comprehensive Change Management and Communication activities within the Cyber Security Program, including impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, change plans, communications, training materials, readiness assessments, and adoption monitoring.
- Provide strategic advice and implementation guidance to business and project leaders on effective Change Management and Communication strategies.
- Collaborate closely with business owners, subject matter experts, and program/project managers to identify and address stakeholder needs, expectations, and requirements.
- Engage stakeholders to gain consensus on Change Management and Communication approaches, ensuring clear accountability and ownership for transition activities and outcomes.
- Identify, escalate (as necessary), and proactively manage risks and issues that may affect the successful delivery of Change Management and Communication activities or project plans.
- Drive employee adoption and utilisation of projects and organization-wide Change Management and Communication initiatives to achieve defined benefits.
- Assess stakeholder comprehension and engagement with required changes across relevant groups.
- Support the identification of current and emerging change needs and stakeholder expectations throughout the organization, aligning efforts with organizational culture and facilitating effective change processes.
Key requirements:
- Possession of an appropriate Change Management certification such as PCI, APMG, Agile Change Leadership, Prosci, or equivalent demonstrated competency.
- Proven experience and a track record in applying Change Management principles, methodologies, and tools across multiple projects, with particular expertise in change impact assessments, stakeholder management, engagement strategies, communication plans, and training initiatives.
- Demonstrated empathetic understanding of how individuals react to change dynamics.
- Preferably, experience in delivering large-scale Information Technology projects or programs.
- Proficiency in executing complex, multi-project change deliveries, including capability development, shaping future customer experience, and service enhancement initiatives.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain robust relationships across all organizational levels, with exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Effective collaboration within outcome-focused and team-oriented environments.
- Skilled in senior-level communication planning, adept at distilling and communicating clear messages tailored to diverse audiences, from senior stakeholders to frontline personnel.
- Demonstrated capability in managing culture, strategic, process, and system change projects and programs effectively.
- Strong ability to influence others and align them towards shared visions or goals.
- Familiarity with various project management approaches, tools, and phases throughout the project lifecycle.
