The Odin Tavern is a family owned and operated bar and bistro located in Balcatta. Recently renovated, we are known for our great food and genuine old fashioned customer service.
A Gold Plate Finalist for the past 2 years and very excited about the year ahead.
We are looking for an experienced casual Chef to join our team, someone who is capable of handling high volume services, in a fun, dynamic environment.
You will have a passion for all things food, the ability to build strong relationships within the kitchen and other internal departments.
We are dedicated to our customers and their experience in our venue, you will be part of ethos that we are here to ensure they have a great time.
What we would love you to have:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Have relevant qualifications as a chef.
- A demonstrated passion for cooking, strong knife skills, and love for all things food.
- Thrive in a high-volume kitchen with efficiency and without loss of high-quality standard.
- Attention to detail, plating well-presented and prepared dishes.
- Great communication skills, work well as part of a team, enjoy a laugh and not take yourself too seriously.
- Actively listens and follow directions.
- Availability across the week including evenings and weekends.
- Have a sign me up - can do attitude!
- Available early mornings
