Chef de Partie for Stocked Food Store - experience essential.

Our busy food store in Hawksburn village Toorak is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to prepare and cook our premium take home products. 

Creativity is encouraged in this role. We are looking for someone with flair to create delicious salads, soups, casseroles and other take home dishes.  This role would suit an experienced Chef de Partie who is happy to support the Head Chef working in a small team.

This role is perfect if you have catering or restaurant experience and want your nights to yourself.  Come and join our happy and friendly team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Running a section and ensuring consistent food is produced whilst helping the less experienced team members to diligently follow recipes
• Working with the Head Chef to bring about efficiencies 
• Keeping a clean and orderly kitchen and adhering to OH & S procedures
• Ensuring presentation is of the highest quality and maintained with emphasis on shop and window displays.

You must have:

• Commercial cooking experience
• The proven ability to run a section
• Creativity and flair for presentation 
• Good communication skills
• Tuesday – Saturday approximately 6am-2.00pm.
