Chef De Partie | Isla Cantina

THE OPPORTUNITY 

Mulpha Hospitality are now recruiting for the Gold Coasts’ newest Restaurant, Isla Cantinaat Via Roma, the sister venue to renowned Edgewater Dining.

Isla Cantina offers fresh dishes and drinks list in a newly renovated, coastal-inspired space with panoramic views of Gold Coast skyline.

If you are a passionate and experienced CDP looking to work in a busy restaurant with a great food, wine and cocktails, we want to talk to you!

Working closely with the senior Kitchen team, the Chef de Partie will:

• Assist Senior Chefs with the daily management of the venue
• Ensure food and menu quality is at its highest and meets set standards
• Assist in the reduction of food waste by following portion control standards
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the kitchen at all times

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A passion for food & ability to work independently 
• A team player attitude, displayed in both internal kitchen teams and the greater business
• A high standard of personal presentation and standard of hygiene
• Enthusiasm, commitment, and seeking the opportunity to learn and develop professionally
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in South American food desirable but not essential

Must have flexible availability to assist in fulfilling busy weekends and weeknights.
