Kitchen operation, then we have the perfect opportunity for you! This is a permanent role based in Kalgoorlie in an accommodation village. This would be on a 2/1 roster, working 7hr per day.
Your new role
- Maintain effective client and business relationships
- Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, mentoring & training staff
- Buffet style bulk cooking for Breakfast, Crib, Lunch, and / or Dinner and Desserts
- Ensure OH&S compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures
- Ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to a minimum
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene
What you'll need to succeed
- Be Trade Qualified with Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Have or be able to obtain a current National Police Clearance (valid within 3 months)
- At least 3 months FIFO Chef experience
- Provide 2 contactable references
- Be able to pass a medical with a fitness assessment and consistent drug and alcohol tests
- Must have a safe food handling certificate
- Situated in WA and be able to FIFO from Perth airport
- Needs to be able to work alone
