SalaryGUJJAR CONSTRUCTION PTY LTD Assisting in Civil Engineering research, design, and construction to support Civil Engineers in project development phases. Preparing detailed drawings and plans for Civil Engineering work using computer-aided design (CAD) software according to project specifications. Estimating quantities and costs of materials, equipment, and labor required for projects.
Conducting tests on construction materials and soil samples in laboratories and performing field surveys to establish reference points, grades, and elevations. Monitoring the progress and quality of projects to ensure compliance with design, safety standards, and regulations. Compiling reports to document project specifications, progress, and adherence to established standards.
Liaising with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to explain drawings, adjust project parameters, and answer technical queries. Managing project documentation, ensuring accuracy and currency of drawings, reports, and records. Ensuring all Civil Engineering activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications: Associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering Technology or related field. Proven experience as a Civil Engineering Technician or similar role. Strong proficiency in CAD software, GIS applications, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
