About us
We are an established professional services practice offering investment, accounting, legal and finance advisory services to our substantial client base.
While we have offices in both Brisbane and Toowoomba, this role is for a position in our Brisbane office. The role is for a permanent part time team member (20-30 hours per week- salary will be pro rata dependent on hours).
The Role
Broadly, you will be responsible for the smooth running of administration and implementation duties.
Your role will include but is not limited to:
- Liaising with clients, fund managers and other third parties as required
- Provide full adviser support, gain exposure to holistic financial advice
- Maintain files and database records (Xplan)
- Conduct research on client holdings/accounts
- Prepare for annual review meetings
- Proof read Statements and Records of Advice, collate the documents for client presentations
- Handle advice implementation including account applications across multiple platforms
- Follow up implementation to ensure complete and update clients
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic business. Your organisational skills, attention to detail and general willingness to assist and imbed yourself as a key member of the team will see you excel in this role.
You will also be proficient in the following:
- 2+ years of experience in an admin role within financial planning
- Understanding of the financial planning process
- Experience with Xplan and MS Office programs
- Experience using multiple investment platforms
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to develop strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders
- Highly organised, able to multi task and prioritise
- Happy to work as part of a collaborative team
- Knowledge of SMSF and insurance is highly desirable.
