Job Description
- Review and prepare income tax returns, financial accounts, BAS's, and FBT returns for various entities.
- Draft bills, analyze write-ons/write-offs, and provide ad-hoc tax and entity structuring advice.
- Oversee payroll function, bookkeeping, and ancillary business services.
- Cultivate positive client relationships, acting as the primary contact for the Firm.
- Understand client businesses and identify areas/strategies for client benefit.
- Provide direction to staff, outlining responsibilities and expectations.
- Efficiently handle an expanding client base and maintain accuracy during workload fluctuations.
- Stay updated on technical issues, legislative changes, and reporting requirements, providing updates and training.
- Collaborate within the BSD team, attend meetings, and support continuous quality improvement.
- Uphold policies and procedures, engage in ongoing professional development, contribute to business development efforts, and provide positive support to colleagues and clients, ensuring desired outcomes
- Minimum 4+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated business services experience within a professional services environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting or a related discipline and CA/CPA qualified
- Passion for developing strong stakeholders relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
