The Electrical Safety Office helps to keep people electrically safe at work and home. We have a vision to prevent death, injury and destruction of property caused by electricity, and we work towards it by monitoring and enforcing compliance with electrical safety laws.
The ESO has five strategic goals:

Our services all relate to compliance, enforcement, advice and support. The Electricity Safety Plan for Queensland guides our work.
The Client Service Officer will work within the Office of the Executive Director team and will provide administrative support for the Office of the Executive Director/Board Services and the Renewables team. The role will also assist in the delivery of strategic and operational objectives through assisting in research and stakeholder engagement activity that aims to identify emerging issues, trends and strategies to improve electrical safety outcomes. The role will also undertake work as required in accordance with the key responsibilities outlined below.
